Review on Touch Latch Brown Standard Overall by Enrique Espinoza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks good, feels solid, but it will take a big earthquake to ensure they perform as advertised.

I'm only giving this 4 stars because I think they will work, but I won't know until the next earthquake. They seem to be durable. I have used them to secure kitchen cabinet doors. Each wardrobe has 2 doors. The front of each cabinet is surrounded by a wooden front panel at the top and bottom. This results in a slight rise of about 1/8 inch from the bottom of the case. The only way to install the transoms was to find some sort of padding or padding material to provide a flat surface to mount the transoms on. Handy with wood so no big deal. The screws provided could not be used as they had to go through the gasket material and into the bottom of the shelf deep enough to ensure a secure fit. Keep in mind that this takes a few days. Change the way you open shelf doors. This is not a business. We're used to it now and it seems natural, but first we tugged at the unyielding door. We haven't had any guests since I installed them so it will be interesting to see their reactions when they open the closet. Even if there's a big earthquake, I'll try to remember to come back and give an appropriate rating. However, I don't want a big earthquake and hope I don't come back and do another review. :-)
