So I'm still getting used to this butter savior as I didn't even know it was possible to store butter without spoiling it. Since it's just me at the moment I'm having a hard time figuring out what I need in the oil, but no matter how much oil I add to this thing, my oil stays spreadable day or night. I'm very impressed. I make homemade bread for sandwiches and my husband uses butter instead of mayonnaise when making sandwiches. Sometimes when the butter comes straight out of the fridge, my bread crumbles, which is very frustrating. With this oil guard we don't have that problem and I look forward to showing him when he gets back from his mission. I've already sent the photos and he thinks it's "cool" too (he's not the type to freak out over little things like that). The color of this shard is so beautiful and it looks nice and solid.
