I wash my incontinent dog's reusable diapers that he wears 24/7. I had such a hard time washing them with my hands because I could never completely get rid of the smell of urine and I felt exhausted after washing them so thoroughly. I sat and thought about buying three times as many diapers so I could just toss them in the washing machine instead, but it was such an expensive option. I ended up thinking about how my grandma used to hand wash all my clothes and she had a wooden washboard and I thought why not find something similar for myself. I saw it and it was cheap and small so I bought it. OH MY GOD, this cut my laundry time down so much! I can quickly wash 3-5 diapers in 10 minutes. Using a small built in board as a stirrer helped a lot to reduce the amount of energy I had to expend to clean. With a gentle scraper, I was able to clean these diapers to such an extent that they no longer had a residual odor. I've also washed delicate items like lace bras and panties with it and it does a great job. HOORAY!
