This little cable works exactly how I wanted it to, but my devices seem to run a little quieter when connected to it. I make music on my computer and when the DAW (Music Creation Program) is open it occupies the sound card making it impossible for me to listen to other songs on my computer. I can use this cable to connect one end to my laptop and the other to my iPod and hear both without speakers, headphones etc.
