The shoes had a number of problems. First, they were a little long for their size, leaving a "flexible" piece at the end of the boot. Second, the bonded insoles fell out the FIRST time I put them on and wouldn't put back on, so I had to do without them. Third, the tightening plastic nut on them doesn't hold the laces in place. And very weak, when I did water aerobics for the first time, one flew away. Fourth, the fabric on these shoes appears to be engineered to hold water and the soles have no drainage holes. So they hold water VERY well and are very difficult to dry. But the biggest problem is that I only bought it on December 26th. I do water aerobics 2-4 times a week. In mid-February the tread was completely worn off the shoe and today (February 24th) the tread is actually completely worn and now my toe can go through the sole of the boot.
