I want to hate this thing for frying the battery in my UPS, but it's completely my fault. This thing does a great job, but be careful with the voltage settings on the back. This thing was switched to 127V by default; I wasn't paying attention and after a week it was definitely too much for my UPS. let me come back I received this item because the AVR in my UPS was clogged due to bad electricity in the apartment. So I wanted a stand alone device to power that part between the wall and my UPS so the UPS stopped working and it worked great. until my UPS died. I quickly figured out the problem by examining the back of this thing, which was the first thing I should have done. I've now downgraded it to 110v (there is a 120v option too) and it works great.
