Review on 🐢 Zoo Med Grassland Tortoise Food - 35 Ounces, Naturally Nutritious by Jacqueline Garrabrant

I have been using this product since I had a bordered Greek tortoise and she loves it. I know there is some controversy about how safe it is to feed your turtle this food on a daily basis, but when used with the right vitamin supplements and lighting, this stuff works well through the winter. My turtle is almost 2 years old now, shell development and activity as expected. During the summer months I add weeds from my garden to this food to balance the natural nutrients my turtle needs. During the months that I am using weed from my garden I only use a calcium supplement, but during the winter months when I am not using weed I use a multivitamin and a calcium supplement for optimal nutritional levels. All in all this food is always good. use as long as it is supplemented with either grass (the turtles natural food source) or a vitamin supplement.
