Good price but fitment issues on 850GS

There is a small issue installing it on my 2019 F850GS, the trailing edge doesn't quite match the OEM brush covers causing a gap. It remains to be seen if this is an issue beyond a minor aesthetic, but I'm not sure how to solve it other than live with them being pushed to the side or being cut/heated by bending the ends.
