Very good printer. Does the job right. One thing to understand about direct thermal printers is that print quality depends on the software/application you are using. When we used stamps.com and we were all on a Mac and needed to use their online version of the app, the quality wasn't that great. I suspect that they only print the labels as bitmaps, so sometimes the label is even barely readable. We then switched to Endicia.com and these guys seem to know what they're doing. I believe the label is sent to the printer as a vector file with settings that produce a very crisp, clean label. So if you received one of these and find that the quality is not what you expected, the solution is to change the software you are using or the settings. That's all.
