I just got a T480s which is needed to replace my old OneLink+ dock. It felt right. After I ordered it, I found that it was only USB-C and not Thunderbolt 3. Plug everything works fine on Debian Sid Linux (Kernel 4.15.0). All ports appear to be lit and doing the right thing, including the network interface. The only catch is that I can't run my 3840 x 2160 (4k/hidpi) monitor at 60Hz over DisplayPort on the dock. Looking into the details elsewhere on the web, I see that others are facing a similar issue and would like some of them to be included in the list. I have a separate USB-C (non-Thunderbolt 3) to DisplayPort cable from Plugable that works well when plugged directly into the T480's second USB-C port and can pass 60Hz without issue. Unfortunately, plugging it into an available USB-C port on the dock does nothing.
