Review on ViewSonic XG270Q with DisplayHDR - Ergonomic 2560x1440P Monitor with 165Hz, Built-In Speakers, Tilt and Swivel Adjustments by Mikey Hickman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

From 24 inch 240Hz 1080p to this…

So I was a bit apprehensive when I bought this monitor because I had previously bought such a large monitor and the colors weren't good. Now let me tell you that you need to make some adjustments to the settings but once you have them you like the colors and brightness of this monitor even without HDR enabled it's crazy it's really good I don't have too many new monitors used this monitor is really good it is really bright the difference between this and my 240 fro monitor i really can't tell which one is the difference is big even in super competitive games. I don't see the difference. Actually, I know there is a difference. There's a slight lag compared to the 240Hz panel, but it's such a big panel and it's 165Hz, but the colors are so much better and the screen is so much brighter that even when there's a lot of input lag which i don't feel, the only lag i feel when i move very fast i don't understand the smooth movement i would get on a 240hz panel with a graphics card that can drive it, It's a bit limited in my opinion, but I don't care as I'm not very competitive and enjoy the brightness and colors of this monitor compared to a smaller screen with washed out colors and super-duper response time

Pros
  • The screen looks great.
Cons
  • Unlike other monitors, the stand is very bulky and takes up more desk space than other models.
