This review is for the XG270Q. I bought 3. They arrived on time and the packaging was undamaged, although one was sealed with tape and the other 2 weren't. This display is beautiful (although it has that IPS glow that EVERY IPS DISPLAY has, so it's not unique to this display), with great colors, deep blacks and a sleek look. So I've only been using this monitor for two days, but it's reliable. Excellent build quality, excellent image quality and brightness. The only thing that confuses me is that it is "Vesa HDR600" certified but the monitor doesn't support true HDR through Windows. You can't turn on HDR and it doesn't show that you can on Windows. I assume the monitor itself only handles HDR internally? I do not know. Anyway, I can use a curved 32-inch Samsung G5 and this thing is better in every way.

So far it's been a good replacement for a Dell 1080p monitor that I accidentally destroyed. I don't play games but the VESA mount, resolution, price and performance covered all my needs. I turned off the disturbing lights from behind and below. This should be something for gamers. Lighter than Dell and picture quality is good. I like the higher resolution of the 27-inch model.

I have never been disappointed with ViewSonic. Great for gaming and everything else. Smooth video, super clear and clean.

I never understood how a higher refresh rate and high quality panel can help with age. I've been a gamer since the 90's and now in my 30's I'm noticing significantly more eye fatigue and longer sessions just don't come without headaches and irritation. Not sure if it's just the quality of the panel or the great refresh rate, but it made a big difference on day one and it was the best gaming monitor I've had to date.

Just received, I like the LEDs on the back and under the bezel, wish they were brighter, they are difficult to see during the day. I will update my review when I use it. As mentioned in other reviews, it's really bright. I'm using this on a PC setup I built with a GeForce RTX 3080 TI 12GB card. I was able to enable HDR on Windows 11 and the monitor with HDMI runs at 165Hz.
