This monitor is amazing! The quality is excellent.

Coming from a Samsung 24" 1080p monitor. The brushed metal finish is very nice. Reflections are handled very well too. I use it for both office and gaming.

Great monitor! in my view

I've been using this monitor for a few months now and I love it! I used to use a 24 inch TN monitor that ran 1080p @ 240Hz. I switched from 1070ti to 3070 and the picture quality is much better. I have never used my 1070ti with this monitor but everything looks the same on my 1080p with 3070 when compared to a 1440p monitor and comparing images of 1080p and 1440 the difference is clear and distinct. Will end up buying a second one to replace my 1080 in my dual monitor setup.

Dead pixel: my review

To be honest I really liked this monitor, deal with the fact that it had a dead pixel which is unacceptable for a brand new monitor. Also, the slight bleeding was almost unacceptable. I'm sure I could trade it in for a new one, but when ViewSonic's quality control is so low that they let a dead pixel product out the door, they don't deserve my money or yours. The Revain return process was very easy and hassle free, they sent my form of payment back to the Revain warehouse within a week of…

Motion blur is much worse compared to Asus PG279Q

My G-Sync ASUS PG279Q just died so I tried upgrading to XG270Q but the motion blur on XG270Q is terrible compared to ASUS PG279Q. The higher frame rate helps with the blur a bit, but the pixel response is still too slow to be sharp at 1440p. Too much money for a monitor with such poor motion sharpness. Even the static desktop resolution is more washed out than the PG279Q, which is another aspect of this monitor that I find unbearable. It generally looks like a very poor 1440p panel. Update…

100% recommend the best in my rating

Love it. My first ips high range monitor. Very bright and colorful and super smooth. I upgraded from a $170 Zepter monitor and it was definitely worth it. Recommended if you are looking for the first "good" monitor.

INPUT DELAY, BEATING pixel.

Already contacted her. No Answer. This thing looks really good and seems to be high quality, but what I mean is that it has so much input lag that playback is smoother on my 60Hz 1080p Benq monitor. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it's definitely not worth the money. I see a benq mobiuz 1440p 165hz for $260, that might be a better deal! If they contact me and try to help, maybe the rating could change. But waist money at the moment.

Great gaming monitor

It was a pretty good value for what I need to play. Not 4K, but still looks great. Setup was pretty easy and they work fine with my current setup. The real test will be when new graphics cards appear again. I'll be able to try them then but for my gaming needs at the moment they look great and are a testament to what I'll be playing in the future.

Looks great but works great.

The device works great and I'm not sure if it's my GPU or my monitor, I suspect it's the monitor, my screen in some games like Battlefield 1 or For the King when certain events happen in the menu when the games are full The screen turns off for a few seconds and then returns.

This is a great monitor.

It's hard to tell a great monitor apart from other great monitors. So, in the end, it all comes down to performance. I would really like to have an FPS counter on this monitor. My previous monitor worked and this is very helpful for diagnosing issues and optimizing for best performance. I noticed that Windows doesn't save or see the monitor when it's physically turned off. I could just overlook the setting, but that's pretty annoying.

AMAZING 1440p gaming monitor

Excellent 27" monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate. Very thin bezels which is a bonus. I needed a GSYNC compatible device for my NVIDIA GPU and this monitor is perfect for performance and relative cost. The metal stand is very strong and stable. A nice bonus are the switchable RGB lighting effects.

The Viewsonic monitor has been upgraded to 1080P @ 144Hz resolution and let me tell you Warzone is the difference between day and night!

The best screen I've ever had!

This screen is amazing! When playing FPS, the refresh rate makes everything smooth and buttery smooth! This year, after years of obstinacy, I switched to a 60Hz monitor. Too bad I didn't update sooner! If you're playing on an outdated monitor, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some cash, your eyes will thank you!

Works great up to the stop

This monitor has worked great for about 3 months. Then, today, it didn't display anything for more than 15 seconds before turning off the device. I tried different Displayport and HDMI cables. Connect one of the above cables at the same time. Hooked up different consoles to see if there were any changes, but no. As long as the monitor works, it works great. But $500 for a monitor that only lasts 3 months isn't too expensive in my opinion.

I love this monitor!

great picture, great menu, features and options. It was packed like a tank and packaged in such a way that assembly was a breeze. All you had to do was take out the screen, lower the side of the box, attach it to the base, and then pull everything out. It has never been so easy.

Great! No complaints.

Review specifically for ViewSonic Elite XG270Q. This is a great monitor and I've had a few (ASUS, LG, Dell). Ultra-clear, bright panel - free from glare, glare and haze. The speakers are passable, but that applies to 99% of all monitors. Please note that this is the XG270Q model (currently $479) with Freesync/G-SYNC compatibility (G-SYNC works seamlessly across multiple games). If you don't need 240Hz at 1440p (ie competitive FPS pros), you can't beat it at this price point.

Responsive and smooth

Make sure you are using PureXP. You may need to perform a factory reset (restore storage) before it is available to you. PureXP sacrifices brightness for responsiveness, which is fine with me as I found the display to be too bright on the default settings.
