My G-Sync ASUS PG279Q just died so I tried upgrading to XG270Q but the motion blur on XG270Q is terrible compared to ASUS PG279Q. The higher frame rate helps with the blur a bit, but the pixel response is still too slow to be sharp at 1440p. Too much money for a monitor with such poor motion sharpness. Even the static desktop resolution is more washed out than the PG279Q, which is another aspect of this monitor that I find unbearable. It generally looks like a very poor 1440p panel. Update: brought back xg270q for lg 27gl850, and the difference between day and night in terms of motion clarity and color. The picture is sharper overall too, and the desktop fonts are clear and easy to read. slow. lg 27gl850 is even faster than pg279q by a small margin, which can be seen in the gameplay.
