My children aged 3 to 18 love these toys. Even with 2 they can be entertained. However, I took the stars off because the yellow magnets were coming out of his feet - luckily while my 12 year old was playing with him and not the 3 year old who is still putting everything in his mouth. So I wouldn't recommend it for young children or someone who puts things in their mouths. I still let my 3 year old play with them because he loves them (great for restaurants and church) but only when we're around and watching him. Would I buy again as we only had problems with one magnet. We've had a set for about a week so we'll see how they hold up.
