Like others I was surprised at how small this item is, but one day I learned how to use it. (how much coffee to use, how much water to pour, how fast, etc.) it makes a great cup of coffee and is the perfect cup size. I'm the only person in my family who drinks coffee so I don't need a larger size. I have the glass version, it doesn't dissipate heat like stainless steel and is easier to keep clean without staining than ceramic. Fill in the coffee grounds, rinse and dry - ready for the next cup. Since there are no commercially available filters of the right size, it is important that you order new filters before the old ones run out.
