I have used these wheels on some Regency adjustable shelf posts. (This is one of the brands of ubiquitous shelving systems that uses posts with cutouts every inch, plastic grommets to secure the cutouts, and wire shelves that fit over the grommets and press them into the posts for a tight fit.) They were screwed into the posts. perfect in place of the threaded adjustable legs that come with the stands, allowing me to mount the shelf on wheels. The wheels roll smoothly and silently. Locks on all four wheels are overkill (you usually get a set with two locking and two non-locking wheels), but the extra locks don't hurt and the price was reasonable.
