After all, it's not that hard

So I recently bought a 2010 Specialized Tarmac Pro Dura Ace. I originally intended to flip this one, but ended up letting it. I just got new bar tape from Specialized and decided to replace my old worn hubcaps. a little careful, but do it anyway. I flip bikes for extra money. So I'm familiar with using traditional bike grips and have decided to approach them the same way. I only use the 91% alcohol I have in an aerosol can for stuff like this. I lifted the old hubcaps far enough to squirt alcohol under the one I'm working on. I pulled right over the hump in the switch and removed the hood about halfway before having to spray more alcohol due to drying. no marks.) With a second spray I can remove the hood. You'll have to pull a little, so take your time. Since using alcohol on your derailleurs will dissolve the grease within, I thoroughly clean and grease the screens before installing new caps. After a liberal spray of alcohol on the inside of the caps, I start applying. If you put the cap on the lever, the alcohol with the caps dries about half on the hump. A few more jets and a bit of maneuvering and I can start both at about 10 meters. And they look great with the new band! I took some photos of my work. If you have any questions, please feel free to write to me. I like to help when I can. Thank you for reading.
