Dura Ace hoods are best for cycling

I replaced my crash damaged hoods with a pair from H__z, they are junk. I had to spend money for original replacement. I received them very quickly and they were not expensive but much more comfortable.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Very happy with these hoods

Exactly what I was looking for. I installed them myself after watching youtube videos. It took some muscular back and forth movements, but it was worth it. You look perfect! Very happy with these hoods.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Genuine Shimano in Parts & Components

The ones I received were genuine Shimano hoods. You really can't go wrong with them. Other aftermarket hoods just didn't hold me back (both other major competitors). No fancy colors, but they just work. Good product!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Empty

Great fit and functionality

My old hoods were sticky and left dirt on my gloves and later on the handlebars. I thought my gloves were worn out but they were hoods so we replaced them with these. Biking is even better when the equipment works perfectly!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Minor issues

After all, it's not that hard

So I recently bought a 2010 Specialized Tarmac Pro Dura Ace. I originally intended to flip this one, but ended up letting it. I just got new bar tape from Specialized and decided to replace my old worn hubcaps. a little careful, but do it anyway. I flip bikes for extra money. So I'm familiar with using traditional bike grips and have decided to approach them the same way. I only use the 91% alcohol I have in an aerosol can for stuff like this. I lifted the old hubcaps far enough to squirt…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cleanliness
