This is a great wall mount, especially for the price. It comes with lots of screws so you don't need to buy it again. First, find out about the VESA standard of your TV. You can easily find it online by searching for your TV and checking the specs. There are different sizes depending on how your TV is mounted and what bracket/mount you want to use. Secondly, I suggest you follow the instructions, they are good, I will go to the end and install the bracket on the TV first. This will help you determine where you want it on the wall. Not all TV backs are stub ends of the TV so you know where the center of the actual bracket is. Finally find the hairpin. The square head screws provide sufficient support. Note, however, that the stand will not be centered when the TV mount is on the wall. Please note it is 4-5 inches off center, measure first. Highly recommended.
