Review on Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain - Low Noise, Multiple Pets Friendly, 2L/67Oz Capacity by James Davis

I have inherited my mothers cat that they just had one of the gravity water bowl things, the cat wasn't' drinking enough, so we bought her this, and her consumption of water has more than doubled. She hasn't had any trouble using it and was never scared of it. It gently bubbles up from the center with nary a sound. I have it next to my office chair and I cant hear it but every once in a while and it sound like a few drops of water landing on water, like rain, its pleasant actually. I know when to clean it by how many bubbles stick to the sides. Huh? The cat slobber, slimy, causes bubbles from the bubbler to stick to the sides, its about every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I add about a cup of water a day, don't know if that's how much water the cat is drinking or if its evaporating that fast, probably a combo of both. Taking it apart, pump and all I used the instructions the first few times but now I just blaze thru it. I've had no problem with the pump at all, it works like a charm. I'm very happy with this product as is my mom's cat.
