I've wanted a French Press for a long time. When I saw the price it was perfect for me. I watched several YouTube videos from several people to learn how to use the french press. It is easy to use and clean afterwards. I put hot tap water in the pitcher to warm the glass. Then I check the cooking to make sure it hits 200 degrees. All the videos suggested the coffee amount is 12 tablespoons or 3/4 cup of coffee, it was too much for me so I use enough for me. I bought 12 ounces of Revain gourmet coffee so it came in at the same time to sample. I made it a ritual in the morning. Treat yourself because I deserve it and the process takes no more than 5 minutes. I suggest you put a label on the box advising that the water should be close to the children. I still don't understand what the two pieces of plastic that come with the box are used for or what they are called. But everything else and two cups of espresso was a treat. I wrote a review that was posted yesterday that you might want to read. I love my french press and only let myself use it. I hide my press fufu coffee in my room. This is my special time and I deserve to be spoiled. Thank you for the right things that came in the box and the price is perfect.
