Initially I received 2 ties and 1 had the front removed. My husband attached something to it to make it work because I didn't want to hassle with sending it back. The company sent me a notification asking if I was satisfied. I told them about the shortage. They were great and immediately sent a replacement. I have to say I was impressed with the customer service. So now I use my ties and feel I can give a fair review! They're nice and heavy, the plastic cover is thick and doesn't twist or snap like some of the previous zip ties I've bought. They are heavy and can be towed. I have 2 Australians and I will hang them in the back door if I don't want to go out with them. We have deer all the time and they LOVE to hunt them. The ties are strong and make it clear the first time. You can't hunt them down while they're hooked. They stick to the snow. I leave them outside and hang the plug in the loop by the door so I don't root and freeze. The long part of the tie is constantly exposed to the elements and holds up very well. I like that my plastic coating doesn't crack when it's cold. I am very happy with my cables.
