My second toe overlaps my big toe a lot on foot and on the other foot it starts trying. I've used all manner of gel tubes, pads, etc including paper towels wrapped around my big toe to prevent chafing and pain. This kit has all kinds of sizes and shapes in nice foam. As you can see in the photo, this works to keep the thumb off the second toe. I also put one on my second finger to protect my curved hammer head joint. Out of everything I've tried, this one works the best. I broke one of the smaller tubes when removing it so I learned to remove it SLOWLY and carefully and the set has been on my foot for 3 months without breaking or tearing. A set of 6 will last if applied and removed with care and remember this is foam not spandex. The foam "flattens out" as needed, freeing up space in your shoes. They're bulky to put on, but with a sock or stocking on your foot, they fit nicely in any shoe. Do not try to use it without socks or stockings as they easily tear from friction.
