It is almost impossible to remove the anti-theft pads from the screws after installation. I think that's the point but one wasn't quite tight and rattled and after much frustration my friend was finally able to take it off and was very unhappy. Just be aware that they are HARD to remove. If you never want to delete them, that's great. Just make sure you tighten them as tight as you like before putting the caps on. Although the lids of the plates are shiny and beautiful. I didn't use the screw caps on the front tag after all the problems on the back.
