I finally got my 2010 Tacoma working with this guide!1. Start with the key from the ignition.2. OPEN and UNLOCK driver's door. CLOSE all other doors including the trunk.3. Within 5 seconds, insert the key into the ignition switch and PULL TWICE.4. CLOSE and then OPEN the driver's door TWICE.5. Insert the key into the ignition and then remove it.6. CLOSE and OPEN driver's door TWICE.7. Put the key in the ignition and KEEP it in the ignition.8. CLOSE driver's door.9. Turn the ignition on and then off.10. REMOVE the key from the ignition switch.11. The door locks will now cycle through, confirming that the vehicle has successfully entered programming mode.12. PRESS and HOLD the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 1.5 seconds on the first programming remote. Once released, press and hold the UNLOCK button for 2 seconds.13. The door locks will be cycled through to confirm successful programming of the remote control. If you have additional programming remotes repeat step 12, if you do not have additional remotes go to step 14.14. OPEN THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. Programming complete.
