They work great: Cable Ties
I have many power tools that are 5 feet to 12 feet long. I use them for harnesses for easy storage of cords. For thicker, longer lines I can double or triple the bands and it still works great. I'm a user of elastics and velcro formats and I think they far outweigh the elastics. They are flimsy and difficult to hold, which is what I use for tying. I recommend at least trying these out. For myself, I don't regret what I've done. By the way, they are much cheaper than heavy rubber models and do their job just as well or even better.
