Hardware scanner revealed they were actually made by "Team Group" which has just been rebranded. After the launch of the Crystal brand, it is practically on par with other SSDs in this price range. So if you're using a mechanical hard drive, you'll see a big difference in boot times. However, if you already have an SSD, I'd look elsewhere and spend a little more for faster sequential reads. But for what it is and at $19.99, it's a good deal.
