Hardware scanner shows they were indeed renamed from "Team Group". After the launch of the Crystal brand, it is practically on par with other SSDs in this price range. So if you're using a mechanical hard drive, you'll see a big difference in boot times. However, if you already have an SSD, I'd look elsewhere and spend a little more for faster sequential reads. But for what it is and at $19.99, it's a good deal.

This is a longer industrial hard drive form factor. The claimed speed of 1700Mbps is closer to 1000. It's a bit thick as there are features on both sides of the PCB. To install it I had to remove the rubber bumper from the motherboard. Significantly longer than a standard 22110 length drive. I understand people criticizing this for not having the highest speeds, but unless you're doing something that really requires the fastest ride I have to say that this is the best value for money in the m.2 form factor. I have used it as extra storage for a beehive and will most likely be a second stick for my son's gaming laptop. The closest action is easily 50% more expensive.
