The trimmer works well and is easy to handle. The battery life is very good and exceeds my expectations.One negative: Initial assembly was a challenge for me. The unit requires assembling a guard and a handle. Both of these jobs are very simple except for the nonstandard screws provided. I have a couple of dozen screwdrivers but found the handle required a "star" shape screwdriver head, which I happened to have. I never found a screwdriver that worked with the guard screws. Finally used pliers to remove and replace the screws. I was surprised that Craftsman did not use a standard Phillips head screw. But since this is a one-time job it would not prevent me from purchasing the same item in the future.
