I just changed the oil on my Sequoia for the first time. It was out of warranty and I didn't see a good reason to take it to the dealer for double the price. I had to remove the protective plate. Then I found a plastic oil filter holder. There are two versions of this tool in the box. The larger one fitted my 5.7 liter engine. I used a long handled ratchet and a left bolt. He came. The oil was drained through the drain plug. New normal filters and gaskets installed. Then filled with fully synthetic oil 0-20W. Like at the dealer for half the price. Also, the oil is much better.
