I have consistently used Short Sexy Hair Frenzy for years to add volume and direction to my hair. My biggest complaint is that it melts in the summer heat and stops working. Although Matterial feels completely different on your hand, it works very similarly to Frenzy, except it doesn't melt in the summer and you need even less to get the same effect. This is the first year round gel I've found and it's pretty economical. I will never buy gel again! It also works after swimming! You really need a shampoo to get it out which I love. You will never need to reapply the gel during the day if this product is used during the day.
