I really like this style of headband. It's a kind of soft tape. It REALLY sticks too much. If you take it off it will be insanely painful! But that also means that he stays. As for waterproofing. I haven't found anything that compares to an over-the-counter bandage. It's better than most but can't hold water when you're in the shower or when you have it on your arm and dip your arm in the water. It gets wet underneath. But hey. What do you expect? They stay until you are ready to take them off. I use them on my fingers and put my fingertips on them to keep them really dry :). This is "waterproof" for you. Definitely a good bandage; a bit pricey but worth it.
