Good ball for the price, the same or better than Stiga 3 star for half the price

These are pretty decent balls for the money. To put it into perspective, I would consider myself a higher level intermediate to lower level advanced player. Bounce seems fine, maybe even better than some of the "better” 3 star balls. I’m not sure about durability yet because we’ve only played one evening with this ball but so far no issues with hard hits. These are half the price of the Stiga 3 star balls and play the same or even better. I was playing in a club with some pretty serious players before covid and these were the balls they use on a daily basis for casual matches. Spin seems the same or better than the Stigas. I honestly see no difference between the two other than Stiga is twice the price and if anything, these Joola ballsPlay even better and a little lighter. The Stiga can feel a little hard and "dead.” Your bounce also depends on the type of table you’re using, not solely on the ball. We use a Stiga advantage. Overall, I will probably be buying more of these once we go through them. Can’t really beat the price for the decent quality.

Pros
  • We use these balls for our public ping pong tables….they get crushed, but it’s not the balls fault!!
Cons
  • Higher risk of injury due to their harder surface
