Our friend peed in him but as soon as we cleaned him up and laid him down he calmed down and now he knows this is his territory. He likes it. The bar or window as I call it is at the top of the structure so small dogs can't see out. It doesn't seem to bother him as we covered his other drawer with a cloth anyway. This is a heavy box and looks good. I like the look of wood. Our friend is happy there and it will definitely last a very long time.
