I originally bought this because I really like the 1974 film The Great Gatsby starring Mia Farrow and Robert Redford and I really like the soundtrack by Nelson Riddle and I just put the soundtrack on Vinyl and I was new to vinyl and didn't have a turntable. It had good reviews, was reasonably priced and seemed good value for money, plus I can connect it to my laptop to burn the above entry onto my computer and eventually add it to my iTunes library. Well I got the record player well before the record I bought it for and I was dying to hear how it sounded and so eager to try out my new toy I bought a Miles Davis record at a local one record shop. I found it very easy to use and the sound quality is pretty good, and I was surprised at how loud the built in speakers are, more than loud enough to be heard in my tiny apartment. I haven't tried the function of writing MP3 recordings to computer yet. It is easy to use and I especially like that it folds easily and even has a handle for easy carrying and storage, which is very convenient when I want to take it everywhere and also because my apartment is very small too. I'm quickly becoming a vinyl lover, all because I NEED to have a specific soundtrack for a movie and realized I would need a turntable to listen to it.
