So the sound quality is excellent. This thing is for quiet listening environments. It reproduces deep bass and clear treble at low volume. I like listening to higher volumes. The thing is great just below maximum volume, but then when you crank it all the way up the bass is flat so it doesn't distort. I think it's too expensive for what he does. I have another speaker that's $60 that's twice as loud but still retains bass. I still don't know how long the battery will last or how long it will last. I will update.
