Not sure if it will work

The cable fits the speaker perfectly but I'm not sure if it will work. The charging indicator on the plug does not light up and does not light up to indicate that the speaker is charging. The speaker died again after 30 minutes of use while still connected to the network. I doubt the speaker is the problem, most likely the cable is not doing its job.
