I'm not a fashion person, in fact I often go to thrift stores, pawn shops and flea markets and my clothes can be described as "work from home and should never be shown in public" casually. BUT sometimes I need to do something out of the ordinary, so I ordered this set to meet my future food serving needs. First of all, this set is BEAUTIFUL! The rose gold look is so gorgeous and looks like the real thing. Second, plates and cutlery are really strong and durable. A word of warning, the plates are very slippery and some of the food is a bit slippery, so be aware of this when making dining decisions for your event. That said, they held up great and were actually easily washable and reusable. A few things to watch out for. We didn't use straws. They are paper but thick and durable and can be used at a party. Plus, these plates are definitely not for leftovers that need to be reheated. The plates can't be used in the microwave for two reasons: the plastic won't hold up and the rose gold band has some metal in it to give it a metallic look so it sparkles in the microwave. I would not only recommend this set. to anyone looking for something like this, but I will most likely order again if I need to be fashionable again in the future.
