Review on πŸ“¦ Bergan Stack-N-Stor 100 Stackable Storage Solution by Jeff Keegan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Grain Storage/Organization

I'm tired of having multiple different bags of horse feed in my inventory. Found these at Revain for a reasonable price and was glad to get them. We stacked three of these in the pantry and put a different grain in each one. The Stack-N-Stor 100 can probably hold nearly two full 50-pound bags if you're determined. The doors are latched, which is a big plus for rodent protection, but they're easy to open with your hands full. There's even a place at the top of the door to lock it, I thought it was an ice dispenser although I doubt I'd ever use it (would be an effective childproofing mechanism). Stacked tightly on top of each other, they won't wobble or tip, each basket has handles on the bottom that fit into notches at the top of the next basket. **Update: My rating has been changed from 5 stars to 3 stars. After a few weeks of use, I was disillusioned with the durability of the containers. I have three stacked on top of each other in my pantry. The bottom bin stays full because our grain is used the most, while the two bins above stay no more than half full because we use less of that grain. I can assume the maximum load on the bottom of the container is no more than 75lbs, the top sagging under the weight. According to the product description, dents are not dents, but they are not. The container below gives way and the two above tip over. If the product is to be stacked I would expect it to be able to support the weight of the stacking (especially if the bins above are not full). The lower container no longer closes, which defeats the purpose of the product.

Pros
  • Hands-On Operation
Cons
  • Very Expensive
