This inverter seems to be working pretty well. Although it didn't have a 1875 watt hair dryer. I like the direct connection as I wired it straight into the existing combiner box (I don't have a generator option but all the wiring including the changeover relay was there). When the automatic fans come on it's very quiet, I can't hear it at all in the van. Be sure to disconnect the charger (converter) before using this item. The remote start unit is simple but works well, it also tells you the house battery voltage. This unit comes with two battery cables that are only 18 inches long, but it's important to keep these cables as short as possible. I love the display on the unit, just wish all of these data points were on the remote. It shows you the power consumption of the loads in your motorhome/van.
