Great addition to kitchen cutlery. I've used it a lot since I bought it and I'm very happy with it. I bought this particular set because the handle position allows enough blade to be exposed so the entire length of the sharpened blade can make contact with the cutting board, making repeated cutting and chopping more efficient for me. I have a set of ceramic knives that protrude about 1/4 inch below the sharp edge, making them difficult to use for slicing unless the handle extends past the edge of the cutting board. You suit me better.
