Review on Standard Motor Products EGV558 Valve by Yung Kaelin

Looks ok but photo is deceptive Photo shows an almost exact Toyota EGR valve but without the Toyota name . It has a silver metal sticker on the top side with a serial number and the sticker on top looks the same as the Toyota sticker but without the manufacturer name like Toyota or one of its suppliers: Denso, Aisin. or Taiho Kogyo. Look at the photo in the ad. Now look at the pictures of my old original Toyota/Taiho Kogyo EGR valve. You will see a metal sticker with a serial number and a white sticker at the top with a blue circle as in the photo in the ad. Now look at the photo I took with the Intermotor EGR already installed in my car. It doesn't have both of the features shown in the photo (I couldn't get the camera to the back of the valve where there should be a metal sticker but it's still not there. From the photo in the advert it appears that the valve is OEM or OES, the only difference is that it cannot say "Toyota" Many OEM/OES parts often remove the original name so they can sell it at a discount, but it is not really an OEM/OES -Product, nothing bad as such and I will update this review later to change star rating if needed, positive or negative Made in Poland which is much better than China which often (not always) has poor quality parts. Changed my rating from three stars to four stars, however, I don't care about the artistic photo.
