My daughter has a 2019 Keystone 42ft fifth wheel, her commuter water heater started leaking. I told her about it as it cost about the same as a replacement unit (and the land unit barely lasted two years!). She always complains about her lack of soul lol. GOOD: It has everything you need (other brands DO NOT!). Fits in place of her old tank model, the door covered an existing hole (I stripped the door black to match her brown and black look) and the wiring was very easy, plug and play. Extended 2 thermostat wires so it can be installed in her living room along with all of her other digital displays that we have installed. She says she can now shower as much as she wants and the water doesn't get cold (she's addicted to city water and showers for 20 minutes! LOL). THE BAD: It doesn't get as hot as a traditional water heater. We slowed down the flow a bit on the dial and that helped a bit, but that's a trade-off as there's less pressure then. I've made sure there's no anti-scalding device or anything, installed a really dodgy shower screen, tried a bunch of things and it's as simple as just not making super hot water. Hot enough to shower but not GREAT. This is of particular concern since it's winter and she uses a heated Camco hose (the water entering her trailer is barely warm to begin with, I tested). In the summer when the heated hose is off and clean cold water is coming in, this tankless model may have more trouble determining the temperature of the water coming out. The water temperature in the old model tank was about 105Β°F, in this one it's about 100Β°F.
