A high quality gas filled whiskey accessory set with stainless steel stones, coasters and OTHER WAYS

Hello bourbon and whiskey lovers! This is a great all inclusive whiskey set (well, minus the whiskey haha!) perfect for those who like slightly chilled drinks but don't want the diluted effect that real ice has on their drink. . Oh, and they don't mind an eye-catching, stylish presentation! This set includes a very nice looking wooden case with a cut out foam liner inside, a pair of colorful wide mouth whiskey glasses and a pair of 2 inch stainless steel whiskey glasses. Stones, 2 slate coasters, ice tongs and a black velvet case for storing the stainless steel stones when not in use. Each glass is 3.5" tall with a top width of 3.75" and each holds 8 ounces of your favorite distilled beverage (no ice or rock filled to the top). They are comfortable to the touch and have an elegant yet diamond-shaped style. Each glass is perfect for a 2" stainless steel whiskey stone to the bottom. Be careful with steel stones! Don't just drop it into a jar or you'll end up with a bottomless jar! Always turn the jar on its side (empty, put the stone in first) and gently roll it up until it touches the bottom. THEN pour your drink onto the stone. Placing a large whiskey stone or scoop of ice also prevents the drink from splashing or spilling out which could potentially be too much drink for the drink AND the ice. Each pair of sealed stainless steel whiskey stones are 2" in diameter. They're filled with liquid, so they shake as they thaw, but when solid they hold their temperature much longer because the ice inside is slow to melt - hollow stainless steel itself doesn't hold temperature well and therefore heats up faster than it could. chill your drink! But WHY use steel whiskey stones? The number one reason to use a whiskey stone instead of a regular ice cube or ball is that the stones obviously won't melt! This means your whiskey or bourbon is exactly as the master distillers bottled and designed it, from start to finish. Stainless steel gives the whiskey a tasteless taste. But if you're like me, you usually prefer slightly chilled drinks. So you get a chilled drink without the diluted drink. And what set wouldn't be complete without a distinctive set of countertop protectors?! These 1/4" thick gray slate coasters have soft foam feet on the bottom and look great sitting under the steel rock glass! Small ice tongs are included, although I'm not sure I'll be using these with these large steel whiskey stones as they tended to slip out when I tried to lift the stone with the tongs. And if it slips out at the wrong moment, you'll find yourself with a bottomless glass. So they are more of a supplement that you can use with regular ice cubes where they have a much better grip. My only real complaint goes all the way back to the manufacturer. While the packaging is fantastic, the contents arrived in the box in a mess! It has foam bags for each item but no cover foam or bubble wrap to keep everything in the bags during transit. Both my slate coasters and a steel ball were dangling and rattling against the box upon arrival. Both the packaging box and the wooden display case (which comes shrink-wrapped) were undamaged. Fortunately, the glasses survived the journey, but that's probably not always the case. This requires additional padding in the box to protect the glass from rocks and steel during shipping. Overall this is a fantastic set to gift to someone or just for yourself!
