I've been using this toothpaste to brush my cats' teeth for years. Both of my cats came to me with dental disease/stomatitis and although the latter is an autoimmune disease, keeping the teeth clean can help prevent your cat from having to remove the entire mouth like I did. My cat's vet is amazed that my boys didn't need to be brushed at the follow-up visits and says my brushing helps a lot. I'm lucky because my cats tolerate me touching their mouths during the process. I clean them once a day, or at least every other day. They have nothing against this toothpaste and there is no problem with it, so I only use it.
