Review on Beron Eco Friendly Laundry Ball Washings by Jonathan Collins

I have been using these laundry balls for 4 months now. For the past few years, I've been looking for alternatives to harsh chemicals to clean the entire house. I used unscented plant-based laundry detergent for at least a year before trying it, so I'm used to unscented laundry. I am very satisfied with the cleanliness of my clothes. My boyfriend and I attend kickboxing classes and have had no problem with the lingering smell from our workout clothes. I mainly use them for cold and warm washes. I sometimes wash towels in hot water, but rarely use my machine's hot water cycle. I hang most of my laundry to dry, except for towels and sheets. The biggest difference I notice between plant-based detergent and detergent balls is the softness of my clothes. My clothes are much softer with it, which is a big plus as I gave up fabric softener 5 years ago. The photo shows their size compared to my Woolzie wool dryball. A few notes about my habits: 1) I don't use antiperspirants. and I haven't had pit stains since I switched to Young Living deodorant. 2) For clothes with a strong body odor or musty smell, I add vinegar to both wash cycles and rinse cycles. 3) I also add Young Living Lemon Oil to laundry with strong body odors or musty smells. 4) I still use spray and remover for difficult stains. Still looking for a replacement. 5) I don't soak mine in water before use or put them in the sun to freshen up. 6) I have very sensitive skin to detergents and chemicals and have had no problems. Pros: - Soft, soft clothes - No detergent on my clothes and in the environment - No big plastic bottles - Clean clothes Cons: - Doesn't look like they can be refilled.
