Difficult to apply and mesh folds easily so be careful! After carefully rolling up my AC50, I used petroleum jelly and hot water to put it on! Once on my filter I noticed a lot more output flow! The old sponge pre-filters clog up in my tank after a week and also greatly reduce the discharge flow. It might work for some but it became a problem and I got algae blooms due to poor circulation. Works great in a planted tank and the holes are small enough to prevent small shrimp being sucked in, so I use pre-filters. So far, so good!
