I wish I had bought it first. Initially, I bought a pair of swim trunks (M) and a separate swim skirt (M) to wear over them. And they ended up spending $25-30 for each. They look good but were uncomfortably tight. So, I'm 7 months pregnant and ordered this from Medium according to the chart I wore before pregnancy. Before pregnancy I weighed 150 pounds, 5 feet 7 inches. Now I weigh 172 pounds and this environment still feels great. It fits snugly without digging into the skin or making it uneven. I have big buttocks and thighs and it looks really flattering. You can pull it up (almost) to your belly button, or do what I do and leave it under a big pregnant belly. I have a hernia so tight pants bother me, but I was able to wear it with no discomfort. If I didn't feel guilty about buying another pair in black, I would.
