Big Little Camping Toaster

I saw that this product had a high rating in the Boat Galley newsletter. There he received a positive response, which I fully agree with. This toaster takes up little space and works very well. I use it on a gas stove that burns a lot so it was pretty low. A stovetop diffuser (which we have but haven't used with a toaster yet) can give a softer result. We're still learning how to use the toaster properly, so far either a slightly burned slice (our fault, not the toaster's) or a nicely browned slice with white stripes where the sticks that hold the bread are. Moving the bread further can reduce the streaks. Advantages of the toaster: - Folds very flat for easy storage. - Makes toast better than other camping toasters we've tried. We've tried a lot. reasonable costs. The handle stays colder than expected. He never burned our hands. -- Good carrying case. Cons: -- The diffusion screen closest to the heat is rough and not easy to clean. In fact, we'll probably buy a second one so we don't have to switch them back and forth.
